Long ago when the world was still in its youth, there was a girl by that name. She lived in a time when the world was turned upside-down, which curiously enough, could describe almost every stage of the world's history. Perhaps this is why she liked soft-boiled eggs and birds on telephone poles. Moreover, she was short and sometimes walked into mirrors. One day she walked into marriage and discovered she liked it, in a curiously unoriginal kind of way. There she stayed for the rest of her days and, it is hoped, grew a little taller.
